CHEF on a BIKE: Vegan & Vino
We present our first vegan-focused Chef on a Bike on Saturday, August 11, featuring the culinary talents of Miriam St Pierre, a front-of-house server/ bartender/hostess and vegan daughter of the owners of Locals Restaurant and the award-winning Beaufort Winery. Mix & mingle with local food growers and producers at our Comox Valley Farmers' Market and then cycle through Courtenay’s charming downtown streets, sampling vegan treats along the way. Your tour ends with a gourmet vegan lunch paired with some of Beaufort Winery’s best wines under the willow tree in front of Locals Restaurant.
