Biking 101: August 15
We all know cycling is becoming more and more popular. It is green, healthy, easy on the joints, and cool! If you haven't ridden in a few years, it can also be quite intimidating.
Island Joy Rides would like to help ease you into the biking world with Biking 101, a session designed to refresh your memory and build your confidence on the bike.
Starting at Vanier High School, pracitce gear shifting, signalling, stopping and all the basics in the parking lot- away from the traffic. When you're ready, ride the quiet country roads to practice then enjoy a well deserved snack by the river. Return to Vanier, a more confident and capable rider.
