General FAQs
Can I purchase a gift certificate?
Certainly! The gift of an experience is the perfect gift. Just contact us and we’ll make that happen!
Do you offer custom tours?
Absolutely. You put a group of people together and we’ll put together a trip that will match your interests and abilities. Interested in other routes on or off the Island? Longer/shorter days? Camping? Family reunion? Office party? We’ll cater to you! See more on our Custom Tours page.
How much riding will we do?
Most of our tours will be about 50 km in length. (On most days, we can provide options for those who want to ride and see more.) See the tour itineraries for details.
How large will my group be?
Large enough for a party; small enough to be intimate. In other words, no more than twelve.
Do you provide the bicycles?
Our Norco XFR-2 hybrid bikes are included in all guided tours, although you are always welcome to bring your own or rent a road bike if you'd prefer. For self-guided tours you can bring your own or rent from us or one of our bike store partners. Just let us know and we'll help you find the bike that suites you best.
Will I be in danger of sunstroke on Vancouver Island?
You’ll be safe from sunstroke on Canada’s west coast! Our summers are generally sunny and warm, but our giant trees do need a drink now and again. While most of our rain falls in the winter (and the spring and the fall), precipitation is not unheard of in the summer months. Check out current Campbell River weather.

Day Trip FAQs
What do your bikes include on guided tours?
Our bikes come complete with map holders, handle bar bags for your personal belongings, and mirrors.
Can I bring my kids?
Children 13 and over (accompanied by an adult) will be happy on our bikes. Smaller children, though, will need to have their own bicycles and would probably be happier on one of our Private Tours. Check out our tour description to see if the trip would be suitable for your kids.
What if it’s raining?
Our trips take place rain or shine. We will make the best of things and adapt, if necessary. Bring rainwear, just in case. You may be sweet, but you won’t melt.
